FindSmith

Snap it. Store it. Find it.

FindSmith is a household inventory app. Photograph your belongings as you pack them away, and find them again later by searching in plain language rather than opening every box.

How it works

  1. Photograph each item as it goes into the box. No typing out lists.
  2. FindSmith recognises what it is seeing and files it into categories for you.
  3. Print a QR label for the box. Scanning it opens the list of what is inside.
  4. Later, search the way you would describe it out loud — "the green camping chairs", "Nana's dinner set" — and FindSmith tells you which box it is in.
  5. Share the household inventory with the people you live with, so everyone is looking at the same record.
